Porsche Centre Singapore marks major milestone in its history with delivery of its 6,000th car

Singapore. Last Friday on 3 May 2019, Stuttgart Auto, the sole authorised dealer for the Porsche brand in Singapore, delivered its 6,000th Porsche car. This milestone delivery underscores Porsche Singapore’s commitment to steady growth, and the position it holds in the hearts and minds of customers in Singapore. The owner of this 6,000th car, Joe Goh, received his new Porsche 718 Boxster with a celebratory delivery party at Porsche Centre Singapore.

Joe Goh said, “I was delighted to find out that I’m the owner of the 6,000th Porsche. Being part of such a milestone is an amazing feeling, especially since this is my first Porsche. I chose the Porsche 718 Boxster because its sleek, sporty exterior and turbo engine really appealed to me. It is bold and confident, which matches my personality! The Porsche brand has always given me the impression of timeless elegance and reliability, and I am excited to begin my Porsche journey.“

The 6,000th car, a Guards Red Porsche 718 Boxster which boasts a turbocharged flat 4-cylinder engine that generates 300 horsepower, won sgCarMart.com 2016 Premium Convertible of the Year and sgCarMart.com 2017 Roadster of the Year. Stunning design meets exceptional responsiveness as the chassis setup of the Porsche 718 Boxster comes together with its turbocharged boxer engine and comfort and assistance systems to provide its driver with an exceptional drive.

In 2018, demand for 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman in the Porsche Asia Pacific region remained on a strong level, registering a 3 per cent increase to 357 units. The first quarter of 2019 has also seen an overall growth in Porsche’s global sales with the US leading the way with eight per cent growth and total global vehicle deliveries reaching 55,700.
