The chassis of the new Panamera models performs this balancing act between sport and comfort effortlessly – even more impressively than before. This is because the chassis systems have been completely redesigned and, together with the even more precisely adjusted steering and the new generation of tyres, now offer more of both. More performance, but above all more comfort – especially on more demanding tracks. Upgraded, partly optional chassis technologies further enhance the driving characteristics. For example, the adaptive air suspension with three-chamber technology, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport) and rear-axle steering. The integrated Porsche 4D Chassis Control system, which centrally analyses the driving situation in all three spatial dimensions, e.g. pitch, roll and yaw, calculates optimum driving states from these data and synchronises all chassis systems in real time: the fourth dimension. The objective is to optimise overall performance, and to make the middle ground between sporty driving and comfort as expansive as possible.

For over 70 years, we’ve been working on being faster. Even when it comes to slowing down. That's why all models – with the exception of the Panamera Turbo S and Turbo S E-Hybrid – are equipped with a brake system with six-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the rear. The single-piece brake calipers are enclosed This makes them lighter yet highly resistant to deformation. The pedal travel is tight, the pressure point precise and the braking distance impressively short.

The special dynamic of the Panamera GTS models is clear from the first glance – in particular thanks to use of the contrasting colour black. Elements, such as the side window trims, the side air outlets, the logos on the rear end or the tailpipes of the sports exhaust system, are finished in black (high-gloss).

A special feature that highlights the sports car nature is the naturally aspirated engine character of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a linear unleashing of power. There is no performance plateau, as is common with turbo engines today. The sports exhaust system with intensive V8 sound characteristics is a perfect match. The same applies to the sports suspension which is lowered by 10mm and has adaptive air suspension and to a more streamlined set-up specially designed for the Panamera GTS models.

The interior of the Panamera GTS models also reveals their love of sport. The combination of black leather with Alcantara®, adaptive Sports seats with 'GTS' logos on the headrests, as well as decorative trim and door sill guards made of brushed aluminium with black anodised finish are a clear demonstration of this. Even the steering wheel rim of the GT sports steering wheel and the roof lining are finished with Alcantara®.

All Panamera E-Hybrid models are available as Sport saloon, Executive or Sport Turismo. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid models with a system output of 340kW (462PS) form the entry level. The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid with a system output of 412kW (560PS) is the new additions to the family. At the top: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid with 514kW (700PS) system power and a maximum torque of 870Nm.
