Porsche - Race Format and Points Structure

Race Format and Points Structure

The championship consists of two categories: Professional and Amateur. Drivers in both categories are competing for a prize money of £32,000. Additionally, there is a team championship where each team assigns a maximum of two drivers to score points for them throughout the season.

Points are awarded based on finishing positions in the respective classes.

Race Format

Race 1

Each driver’s fastest qualifying time will determine their place on the starting grid.

Race 2

The finishing order of the first race will determine the starting grid for the second race of the weekend. If a driver does not finish Race 1, they will start behind the last race finisher within their category, and not at the back of the entire grid.

Both Race 1 and Race 2 will have standing starts.

Points Structure

Drivers will score 1 point for setting the fastest lap in their category in each race.

Qualifying

Drivers that set the fastest lap time within their category during qualifying at each race weekend will be awarded one championship point.
